A BioGill system can be can be configured where most, if not all the sludge, is cannibalised. Mostly, the sludge produced is predominately carbohydrate and biodegradable creating a highly effective fertiliser.
Silent with little or no odour
Pumps can be submerged to reduce noise. BioGills do not produce aerosols, so exclusion zone requirements are greatly reduced.
Self-optimising
Older biomass sloughs off the gills and is automatically replaced by healthy new biomass every few days.
No filters
BioGill treatment cores contain no filters which foul easily and are expensive to replace.
No chemicals
No chemicals are required in most applications when treating to an irrigation or environmental discharge standard.
